Our Specialty Sales Associate will be responsible for managing and growing B2B relationships with a focus on brick and mortar/specialty wholesale sales. Their concentration will be on creating and executing a strategic plan for growing existing accounts as well as finding, securing, and growing new accounts.
Responsibilities of a Sales Associate Include:
- Creating & executing a strategy for expanding the product range with new and existing customers.
- Identify sales trends and growth potential, work with internal departments to increase sales with existing and new business.
- Follow-up on all sales leads and continually update CRM
- Work with Specialty Sales Manager on developing annual account plans based on short, mid, and long-term goals, ensuring they align with the annual forecast and company goals.
- End to End Management of Specialty Account orders from product selections through delivery.
- Collaborate with Marketing on Retailer driven initiatives.
- Share insight with Creative and Product Development teams on top sellers and collaborate on new products and programs that can help drive sales.
- Keep current knowledge of retailer trends.
- Representing the company at National Trade Shows annually.
Qualifications & Skills:
- BA/BS in business, sales and/or marketing is preferred but not required.
- 1-3 years Experienced Preferred but not required.
- Comfortable with using CRM systems to manage leads and existing customer relationships.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Knowledge
- Understanding of Netsuite is Preferred but not required.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to adapt to and manage changing priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent attention to detail.
- This position requires some domestic travel.
