Job Description:
Aliquantum International Inc. is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Illustrator/Designer to join our team. In this role, you will develop high-quality, production-ready illustrations and designs that support and elevate our licensed brands across global markets.
The Illustrator/Designer will be responsible for creating character turnarounds, product design sketches, presentation boards, trend boards, and other visual development materials that translate concepts from initial ideation through final execution. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong understanding of design principles, a refined visual aesthetic, and the technical expertise to produce polished, brand-aligned assets. You are able to think strategically about brand development while maintaining close attention to detail, ensuring all deliverables meet a high standard of quality and consistency.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- High-Fidelity Illustration: Develop and design final-pass illustrations and characters for our internal brands, ensuring a world-class standard of polish and detail.
- 3D-Ready Character Design: Create precise character turnarounds (front, side, back views) specifically designed for translation into 3D products and collectibles.
- Collaborative Design: Partner closely with the Design Manager and Senior Designers to execute brand-focused initiatives from concept to completion.
- Production Excellence: Communicate with Product Managers to define specific design requirements for mass production, ensuring visual integrity is maintained from screen to shelf.
- Technical Packaging & Prep: Create custom die-lines and prepare flawless, press-ready files for mass manufacturing.
- Licensing Integration: Creatively layout and adapt assets from global licensing partners to develop innovative product and packaging solutions.
- Visual Refinement: Provide professional image retouching, color correction, and clipping paths for product photography.
- Digital Asset Management: Maintain organized archives of all project files, ensuring version control and efficient workflow for the design team.
Qualifications & Skills
- Portfolio Excellence: A strong portfolio demonstrating high-level, final illustrations (characters and backgrounds).
- Technical Mastery: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Design Fundamentals: Expert understanding of layout, color theory, typography, and 3D spatial awareness.
